Bits of Summer
"Teaism is a cult founded on the adoration of the beautiful among the sordid facts of everyday existence. It inculcates purity and harmony, the mystery of mutual charity, the romanticism of the social order. It is essentially a worship of the Imperfect, as it is a tender attempt to accomplish something possible in this impossible thing we know as life." — Kakuzō Okakura
This painting collection breathes life into ordinary, often overlooked objects, unveiling the joy of discovering beauty and meaning in the small things that surround us—reminding us, in many ways, of tea itself.
A collaborative presentation by Lonely Panda Tea Room and the artist, this exhibition brings together tea ceramics, pottery, and aesthetic objects to create a unique intersection of creativity and art. Drawing inspiration from the works on display, guests will be served cold brew tea and tea jellies that reflect the essence of the paintings. This collection is authored by the talented artist and photojournalist Lucian Muntean, whose watercolor works invite viewers to pause, appreciate, and connect with the beauty in their surroundings.
