Tea Party
This end-of-the-year tea gathering brings together tea lovers from all corners of Bucharest, marking one of the warm-up events for the soft opening of the Chinese Cultural Institute in the city. The event serves as a vibrant tea social where we open our platform to a wider audience, creating an opportunity for sharing and exchange within the tea community.
The theme of the party is "Community," and for this occasion, we invited fellow tea enthusiasts and professionals to co-host the tea sessions. Guests were guided through tasting experiences by Diana and Andrei from the tea blog Ceai.Tea.Cha., who share their tea journeys and expertise, and Alexandra, a passionate tea professional dedicated to spreading the culture of specialty teas to a wider public.
Alongside 20 other tea lovers and members of the local community, we split into smaller groups to enjoy tea together, discuss our thoughts, and connect over our shared love for this ancient beverage.
For a unique touch, we sourced seasonal fruits and vegetables from the local market to adorn the tea table, bridging the flavors and colors of nature with the delicate profiles of the teas we served. This decor not only created a vibrant atmosphere, but it also aligned with our values of sustainability and community—guests were invited to take home the fresh produce at the end of the evening, symbolizing the connections made through taste and conversation.
